When Ex Calls - 4 Easy Ways To Maintain Control

When your ex calls during a period of no contact, it is a sure sign that he is thinking about you!  At that point this is ALL that that means! Read my blog post on why you shouldn't get too excited right now.
Just chill...
If you are emotionally ready to re-establish contact with your ex then you can proceed.
If it is too early during the no-contact period, you are probably not ready and should try to avoid phone calls as much as possible. Your voice and how you respond to your ex will be a dead giveaway.
What do we mean by emotionally ready?
When you are detached enough from the outcome of any conversation you may have with your ex, then you are ready to accept calls and return calls as you see fit.
Remember that you are still in control of you and your emotions. You are still in control of the situation and if you want to remain in control, you have to handle any contact your ex initiates the right way.
Here are four quick tips to help you maintain control:
1. Do NOT pick up the first time he calls. Let it go to voice mail. You have a life and are not sitting around waiting on your ex-boyfriend to call you.
2. Return the call when you have some spare time.
3. Make sure that you are in a positive frame of mind when you return the call. Remember, you are having a blast (don't exaggerate, please) and the way you talk has to reflect that.
4. Keep the call under 10 minutes and divulge little to nothing about what you are doing with your life.
This is not about playing games and if you are playing games your ex will know right away.
For this to work properly you have to reflect the type of attitude, grace and poise that men, ALL men, including your ex-boyfriend are drawn to!

You can't fake that though.

So we're going to get you on the right track and by the time you are done, your EX will be sitting by the phone waiting for YOU to call.
